Got myself a new T-shirt in honor of the new
role I’ll be playing with my client, Caring for Denver Foundation.
Caring for Denver was formed in 2018 after voters agreed to increase sales tax within city limits. For every $100 spent, 25 cents goes to support programs for mental health and substance misuse.
The foundation provides grants to community-based organizations all across the city. I’ll be helping their communications and community-relations team by doing my favorite thing: listening to people who wish to tell their story. Then sharing in a way that honors both the individual and the nonprofit they are connected to.
I am so grateful to Kindle and the Caring for Denver staff for trusting me with such an important role. The work these nonprofits are doing truly are making a difference in our city.
